Seasons Greetings
As everyone gets prepared for the upcoming holidays we would like to
extend our appreciation for your interest in CanadaWide and your continued
commitment to make it a success. In the upcoming year we have plans
to launch a new look and feel to our website, brochures, and marketing
information. From all of the directors and schools of CanadaWide, "Have
a wonderful holiday season and may the best be yet to come in 2004"!!!
Interlangues - Ottawa, Ontario
Halloween
and the trip to Gatineau Park were great successes. Everyone enjoyed
the beautiful foliage. November also has its solemn moments. On November
11, the students and teachers headed out to the National War Memorial
to take part in the Remembrance Day Memorial. This is always a somber
day. Everyone has their own reasons to remember and we thank our students
for contributing.
Now we are winding
down for the Holidays. We will be closed from December 20 to January
4 inclusively. Many of the students will be using this opportunity to
visit the rest of Canada or explore our region. There are so many activities
in our region in the wintertime, such as skating, skiing (downhill and
cross-country), snowboarding and snowshoeing.
We also look forward
to the return of Nina, our ESL Coordinator, who has been on vacation
in Europe for the last two weeks. We hope you are enjoying your trip
Nina and wish you a safe journey home!
We wish everyone Happy
Holidays and a great New Year!
We look forward to
seeing at Interlangues in the New Year!

KIOSK International
- Toronto, Ontario
KIOSK
Language Centre in downtown Toronto opens the door to action, excitement,
shopping, all the attractions of a big city! At KIOSK you have a home
base with friendly teachers, new friends, and safe homestay families.
In December the smell of the Christmas tree and bright lights change
the lounge into a holiday spot perfect for photos and parties. Skating,
skiing and a trip to Niagara Falls are part of winter fun. For students
from Mexico or Saudi Arabia or Vietnam seeing snow for the first time
is an exciting moment.
ESL classes provide lots of time for students to practice all their
new English skills. The "English Only" conversation lounge
is a great place to chat with classmates. In the computer lab, students
use innovative pronunciation software to practice speaking like a native.
High
school students complete grade 11 and 12 at KIOSK International College
and attain high TOEFL scores for university admission. Start winter
semester January 5 /04 and stay for summer semester in May. Interesting
courses include Accounting or International Business as well as Mathematics
plus many English courses.

warm at KIOSK. We wish everyone a peaceful holiday season. http://www.canadawide-english.com/kiosk.htm
POINT3 - Montreal, Quebec
Our students are also great chefs!
Montrealers
LOVE to eat! And we were fortunate enough to be treated to delicious
spaghetti sauces made by two of our students, Angelica and Toshi. And
two of our Swiss students, Michelle and Stephanie, made a national specialty,
rostie. We definitely enjoyed these yummy potato pancakes!
Thank-you, merci, gracias, arigato, danke schoen to our talented chefs!
Ice
Skating
We went to the Atrium, Montreal's warmest skating rink - it's indoor!
Some had not put on skates since they were wee little tots, so it was
kind of like trying it for the first time...
... a well-deserved break off the ice!
The holidays are nigh...
We got a head start on the holidays and made some wintry greeting cards
to send to far-away family and friends.
And...More Food!
What would our month be without a dinner out with the gang? This time
around we went to Shambala, for a Tibetan feast!
Up and coming...
In December we'll be making gingerbread houses, having a jam session,
trying a Japanese New Year's tradition and without a doubt - eating
at another amazing restaurant!
The winter season and piles of snow certainly do NOT dissuade Montrealers
from enjoying the outdoors (and indoors too, of course!). Right in the
midst of the city you will find outdoor skating rinks and trails for
cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. And the downhill ski slopes are
a just short drive away!
Montreal has some of the best restaurants in the world, fabulous shopping,
and a great nightlife - imagine, you can experience all this AND learn
English or French at the same time- IF you come to study at POINT3!
From all of us at POINT3, have a very happy
and healthy holiday season.
