October = Fall Colours, Halloween
and Thanksgiving
October
is a great month to be visit Study Abroad Canada. The the leaves are
beautiful yellows, oranges and reds. They crunch when you walk on them
and the air is clean and crisp. The wild geese fly overhead and you
can hear them honking, even in the city and the apple orchards are full
of ripe apples. Thanksgiving is coming and you can experience a real,
Canadian turkey dinner. We will make one at school and you will share
one with your host family. Of course you cannot forget to join in the
Study Abroad Canada Halloween party. An event that is always full of
fun. If you are interested in seeing the REAL Canada, experiencing a
small city, and meeting friendly people, then now is the right time
for you to visit PEI. Contact us about some of our special fall offers.

KIOSK International
- Toronto, Ontario
Did
you know that students with laptop computers and other wireless devices
can now access the Internet wirelessly anywhere at KIOSK? ...Last Saturday,
Taso, KIOSK's activity leader took 14 of us to Algonquin Park. We drove
about 3 hours. It was wonderful to be out of the city. I loved the lakes
and fresh air. The trees were beginning to turn from green to red and
yellow. This is the Canadian nature scene I always wanted to see. The
fall months of September, October and November are beautiful - a great
time to come to Toronto. - Britta, Germany
Seven
international students are excited and nervous on their first day of
grade 12 high school at KIOSK. They have many questions. Is my English
good enough? How many credits do I need to enter university? What is
college like? What subjects can you take? Calculus, Algebra, Data Management
as well as a great high school English program will get you the KIOSK
credits to go to university or college in Canada. Come and be part of
the KIOSK High School experience!

Busiest Season Ever,
Thank You
Canadian
College teachers & management celebrated our busiest summer in 12
years by taking a week of holidays this week. College President Gerry
La Belle said that "the summer registrations looked slow but the
month of June saw record numbers of registrations. We had to use our
Film and Acting studio and classrooms to help with the overflow of students."
Thanks to the hard work of our agents as well as the students from over
eleven different countries that participated in our Intensive ESL, Business
and Study Tour programs. Now onward to a great 2005!

CSLI September Events and 12th Anniversary...
CSLI
celebrated the busiest month in our history and our 12th Anniversary
in September. Some of the special events we had planned for September
were Soccer tournaments, Tennis tournaments, a Boat Cruise graduation,
a trip to the PNE National Fair, getting a haircut, a Whistler trip,
Golfing, a Chinatown tour and lunch. Thursday Theme nights hosted by
CSLI students were Saudi Arabian, Costa Rican, Swiss, Israeli and Thai.
During our August graduation the students had a parade with signs from
their countries. There were lots of laughs and good competition amongst
students from over 25 countries. The countries with the most medals
were the Dominican Republic and Korea.
Donald Trump and the Apprentice!
CSLI's
Business class this month had a special project. They had to make companies
and be interviewed by the Director, Lori-Ann Keenan. If their idea was
approved, they could do a moneymaking venture with the other 250 students
at the school. We had 3 projects which were approved: Bowling and pizza
night, Movies and hot-dog night, and souvenir T-shirt making. Congratulations
to "Boarder Breakers", the company that made the most money!
They will donate their proceeds to the CSLI children's fund.

Educere International College - Calgary,
Alberta
The
colours of Calgary are advancing and the leaves are beginning to fall
to the ground. Spruce Meadows hosted the annual Equestrian event in
early September and later this month we will experience horseback riding
at the world famous Bar U Ranch. What a great month at Educere with
students from Brazil, Mexico, Korea, Algeria, Slovakia, Japan, Saudi
Arabia, Vietnam and Spain. This month we explored the adventure of the
Calgary Jazz Festival, The Glenbow Museum, Theatre and a wild life adventure
tour of Waterton Lakes National Park. We went to a Bison reserve and
also observed Elk in mating season.
Educere
International College is having renovations this month with some restructuring
of our classroom space and a general facelift. Yes, we have chosen lime
green for the main colour and a plum shade for the feature walls. The
renovations will be completed by the Thanksgiving. This month we added
a Polish translation to our web site which gives us translation into
10 Languages. Our wide range of students from different linguistic groups
insures a good international mix of students.

Activities
galore!
With
September here, the new school year has started, which means a beginning
of a new session both on the International campus and for our domestic
students doing corporate training. We are excited about this new session,
as it is one of our busiest and invite students from all over the world
to register soon! We still offer all our programs: TOEIC® and TOEFL®
Preparation, Conversation, All-skills and a series of workshops in the
afternoon. Our latest addition is an evening conversation class. Many
students find it difficult to get to class during the day because of
work and other commitments. This is evening class is just the solution!
We are sure that you will find our program extremely flexible to your
needs!
Happy Trails to you... not only the lyrics of a famous country and
western song, but also the name of the farm that we visit when we go
horseback riding in the fall. This is always a very popular activity
-- and this year was no exception! All of our students and teachers
took a trip to see the countryside practise their equestrian skills.
Next time, won't you come with us? Register at Interlangues today!
